More Questions, Answered

What should I expect in the first session?

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you're hoping to work on. There's no pressure · it's a conversation, not an evaluation.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I currently accept Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, and Optum. Please contact me if you'd like to verify your benefits or ask about self-pay rates.

How long does therapy take?

It varies by person and goal. Some clients find significant relief in a few months; others prefer ongoing support for a year or more. We'll regularly check in on your progress and adjust the plan as needed.

Do you offer telehealth / virtual sessions?

Please contact me directly to ask about virtual session availability for your situation.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. I'll go over this in detail during our first session.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is confidential with a few legal exceptions · such as if there is risk of harm to yourself or others, or if I'm required by law to report. I'll explain these limits fully during our first session.
